• The knowledge cutoff and capabilities of the underlying AI model

You should always review AI-generated results before relying on them. Our AI features are provided as convenience tools to reduce manual effort — they are not a substitute for your own verification.

Scanning may take varying amounts of time depending on the number of items, image complexity, and current service load.

2. Recipe, Grocery, and Cocktail Suggestions

Recipe ideas, cocktail suggestions, and grocery lists generated by our apps are based on the inventory data in your account and are for informational and convenience purposes only. They are not dietary, nutritional, medical, or professional advice.

Always check:

• Allergens — AI suggestions may not account for allergies or dietary restrictions unless explicitly configured
• Expiry and freshness — our apps do not currently verify that items are still safe to consume
• Quantities — quantities estimated from scanning may not be exact
• Dietary requirements — consult a qualified professional for dietary or health guidance

All Vavyan services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

4. No Professional Advice

Nothing on vavyan.com or in any Vavyan app constitutes professional advice of any kind — legal, financial, medical, dietary, or otherwise. If you require professional guidance, consult a qualified professional.

5. Third-Party Services

Our apps integrate with third-party services including AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), payment processors (Stripe), and authentication providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services, and their own terms and disclaimers apply.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vavyan disclaims any and all liability for losses or damages of any kind arising from your use of our services, reliance on AI-generated content, or any service interruption. See our Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability.
